OK Gov. Brad Henry Attending the Obama Coronation

So, where in the world is Oklahoma’s Gov. Brad Henry today? He’s globe trotting again, and no, he isn’t in Turkey, this time.

Today, he’s attending a watch party for the Obamessiah – “The One,” he has declared to be, “A strong, committed and inspirational leader, ideally suited to bring together Democrats, independents and Republicans.”

Oklahoma’s Rep. Dan Boren (D-OK) refused to endorse Obama because he was too liberal for Oklahoma. But apparently, he’s not too liberal for our Governor.

Obama is planning the mother of all “election” extravaganzas in Chicago’s Grant Park this evening, estimated to cost around $2,000,000 (I wonder how many of Chicago’s hungry and homeless that would have fed?). 70,000 tickets have been given out for the event, and the going rate for those on Craig’s List is reportedly around $1,000 (although some people are willing to bargain a little more ‘creatively,’…ahem).

Anyway, it’s hard to imagine anything that could rival Obama’s acceptance speech in Denver, which included a staged colliseum, and masses of fully indoctrinated adoring fans chanting “Obama, Obama, Obama….” But the prophet of Hope and Change is going to try, and I’m sure Governor Henry is very excited to be a part of it all.

The unassimilated are fearing riots tonight in Chicago, and personally, I’m expecting the whole fiasco to be the most expensive concession speech, ever.
