Tony Snow

Posted in GCV - U.S. News by Jenn on July 12, 2008

My heart is broken this morning. I just received an e-mail from my friend Leslie letting me know that Tony Snow has died. As a Christian, I firmly believe that Tony has moved on to a much better place, but my heart is heavy for his family, his friends, and for the conservative movement in America. We’ve lost a good man.

I had a chance to hear Tony Snow close CPAC this year. This year’s CPAC had been a rather sad one overall, with a lot of good-byes, but I will always remember the way Tony came on the stage, and lit the room up with his smile, warmth, enthusiasm, exhortation, encouragement, and energy. As he said in this speech, America is great because of our goodness. Tony, this was true of you, too…You’ll be missed.

Update, Michelle Malkin has more, including this video, of Tony jamming with his band at the National Press Club:

Even tho we of the conservative ilk be flawed sometimes I have never read such drivel as I read on Sinister coming from the mouth of a conservative.
Warriors praise worthy adversaries but “squaw men” tend the campfires and think only of their next pleasure and have lost all capacity for loving thine enemy and themselves.
    Thank you Jesus Christ..

I saw that, FG. Looks like sinister jumped on the A.P. bandwagon. I refuse to acknowledge either by posting links to such hateful rhetoric.
