“Operation Falcon” in Tulsa, a Success!
Tulsa police officer Chris Witt has always enjoyed “chasing bad guys.”
He, with more than 70 other officers, spent last week tracking down fugitives in a massive sweep targeting Tulsa residents with outstanding warrants for violent crimes.
“It’s both personally and professionally rewarding,” Witt said, who has been with the Tulsa police department for more than 20 years.
The sweeps, called Operation Falcon, targeted residents with warrants for violent, gang-related and sex crimes. However, the task force’s officers also could make arrests for drug possession and outstanding traffic tickets if they came up during a raid.
